Our "Out of Box" Demo units are now available. Some of these units may have been used as demos in some of our stores or were sent back to us, usually due to an ordering problem or an undeliverable address. These units are NOT scratch and dents .They are simply units that have been taken out of the box. They are in like-new condition, come in the original box and carry the Full 3-Year Warranty. We have a limited supply of these units; If they are available they will show as "in-stock" beside the photo above and you will be able to add one to your cart.

The GEN 3 can be run on "Auto" Mode" like last year's model XL; it will cycle on and off to maintain the desired temperature setting.  It is also equipped with a "HIGH" mode.  If a consumer switches the mode to High, the unit will stay on Full power at the highest heat setting and keep heating.  It will not cycle off on the High mode.

When the GEN 3 is set on the "Auto" mode and is cycling off and on, it uses an Energy-Saving feature.  The unit will run on full power until it gets to within 2 degrees of the desired temperature.  At this point, it will automatically go into an energy-saving mode, which shuts down 2 of the heating elements and lowers the fan speed.  Not only will this save energy, it also keeps the room temperature closer to the desired temperature.  If the room temperature should fall below 2 degrees, the unit will return to the full power mode until the desired temperature is reached again.

This feature creates 2 different power readings from the unit, Full Power and Energy Savings.
